Account Manager for FaceUp 💙 (East Coast based)
- Remote
- Charleston, South Carolina, United States
- Sales
Job description
About FaceUp:
FaceUp is a B2B SaaS Compliance and Ethics platform headquartered in Prague, with a US entity and customers primarily in the United States, the Middle East and Europe. Since 2017, we've been building trust and transparency in organizations worldwide - from schools tackling bullying to big companies and public institutions strengthening compliance and ethical culture. We serve compliance managers, HR leaders, and ethics & compliance teams who need a trusted reporting channel and a workflow to manage investigations. Today, our cloud-based B2B SaaS platform serves 3,500+ organizations across 70 countries.
We are hiring an Account Manager based in the US (East coast) to own renewals and expansion across a portfolio of B2B customers. You'll be responsible for revenue retention, renewal planning, and expansion growth, working closely with Customer Experience and Sales to turn customer value into long-term commercial partnerships.
🚀 The challenges that await you:
Renewal Management
Own the renewal process 90-120 days before each contract end date, securing executive alignment in the final 30-day window and resolving risks early
Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations through to close
Keep renewal status, risk flags, and next actions current in the CRM
Expansion & Account Growth
Build and maintain structured account growth plans, identifying upsell/cross-sell potential and new use cases within existing accounts
Identify and pursue expansion into related entities - subsidiaries and sister companies, including non-customer units
Take ownership of opportunities surfaced/sourced internally, lead commercial conversations with decision-makers to advance expansion deals, and close upsell/cross-sell deals
Commercial Risk & Retention
Monitor the portfolio for early churn signals and define save strategies for at-risk accounts
Escalate high-risk accounts to leadership early, bringing in executive involvement where needed
Apply structured commercial rationale to pricing decisions rather than reactive discounting
Forecasting & Portfolio Management
Submit monthly forecast updates with clear probability weighting per deal
Maintain CRM hygiene and give accurate calls in forecast reviews with the commercial lead
🙌 What Success Looks Like
Strong, predictable renewal rate and measurable expansion revenue
Healthy Net Revenue Retention across your portfolio
Early identification of commercial risk and disciplined forecast accuracy
🤝 We would like to see you apply if:
You have 3-5 years in B2B SaaS commercial roles, owning renewals and expansion revenue.
You have a strong understanding of recurring revenue models and structured account growth planning.
You have proven experience with enterprise and mid-market B2B clients and with a US-wide book of business
You demonstrated measurable revenue impact - we will be eager to hear about it during the interviews!
You are skilled at discovery and qualification - you know what MEDDPICC or similar frameworks are.
Discussing pricing, negotiating contracts, and handling objections is your daily bread. You know how to create the right conditions to close confidently.
You can craft compelling messages, deliver tailored presentations and you are confident leading commercial discussions with senior, executive-level stakeholders.
You are comfortable explaining technical product capabilities in a way that communicates value to non-technical stakeholders.
You are able to build trust and long-term partnerships while reading customer emotions and perspectives.
You can handle standard contracting on your own, can anticipate and prepare for contract issues so the cooperation with the legal team is smooth.
You understand the importance of forecast discipline & CRM hygiene and can make data-driven decisions using CRM data and analytics.
If you ever worked in compliance, HR tech, legal, or regulated industries it is a big plus.
💙 Why you'll love it here:
Genuinely meaningful product - A secure, user-friendly platform that helps to build compliant & ethical cultures, promotes transparency, and empowers employees to speak up safely.
Real ownership, not a slice of it - make decisions that shape FaceUp’s growth from day one.
Strong team culture - join motivated, values-driven colleagues who believe in what they’re building.
Flexibility - remote friendly setup, unlimited PTO, paid sick leave.
Learning and growth - We invest in your growth through training, conferences, and tools that help you level up.
Perks & benefits - 401(k), Contribution to health insurance, Online therapy session via Hedepy, and the possibility to gift unlimited school accounts to anyone of your choice to fight bullying.
💬 How we hire:
We like to keep things straightforward and transparent:
Apply in English with your CV and a short note on why this role feels like a good fit for you.
Intro call - a relaxed chat about your expectations and experience.
Further interviews with the team and leadership to ensure it is a match for both FaceUp and also you!
Practical task based on a real scenario - your chance to show us how you work and also see what you would be working on when joining FaceUp.
We are looking forward to hearing from you! ☺️
